27-29 November 2020  Zita Folkets Bio canceled

Finally, Arab Film Festival Stockholm is back! Arab Film Festival Stockholm celebrates its fifth year under the corona Pandemic, which unfortunately forced all events that attract big crowds to alter the strategy they adopted for years. This also applies to Arab Film Festival Stockholm for its fifth year for that, we designed the festival program and the film’s screenings to comply with the mass gathering in accordance with the laws of the Swedish authorities. We hope that the year 2021 will bring positivity and hope toward a prosperous future.

The days of the festival will be filled with feature films, short films, and documentaries! Arab Film Festival Stockholm strives to show the wide range of films within Arab cinema. The Arab cinema culture is tremendously rich and versatile, and our purpose is to increase tolerance and gender equality by using film as the means and universal language to achieve that goal.

All films screened during Arab Film Festival Stockholm have English or Swedish subtitles.

Arab Film Festival Stockholm is organized by Malmo Arab Film Festival – MAFF is leading and largest film festival focusing on Arab films in the West and southern Sweden’s largest public film festival.
