ARAB FILM FESTIVAL LANDSKRONA
18-20 November 2017 Landskrona Teater, Kulturskolan & Bio Maxim.
The second edition of Arab Film Festival Landskrona will be held between the 18-20th of November. A festival for the whole city of Landskrona to enjoy with Arabic cinema in focus. The main focus of this year’s festival will be to shed a light on female directors.
The days of the festival will be filled with feature films, short films, documentaries, and seminars! Arab Film Festival Landskrona strives to show the wide range of films with female perspectives and creators within the Arab cinema. The Arab cinema culture is tremendously rich and versatile. Our purpose is to increase tolerance and gender equality by using film as the means and universal language to achieve that goal.
In conjunction with the festival, we also arrange two school cinema showings at Bio Maxim.
Arab Film Festival is organized by Malmo Arab Film Festival. MAFF is leading and largest film festival focusing on arab films in the West and southern Sweden’s largest public film festival.
