Aida, a Jewish University professor of Moroccan origin who lives in Paris finds out that she’s suffering from cancer. She returns to her country of birth seeking to revive old childhood memories and new hope. Her reunion with her childhood playmate, Youssef, who is himself, brooding over his existence and at grip with melancholy, helps them both change the course of their destiny.

Driss Mrini, is a Moroccan director. Mrini studied communication in Hamburg and worked at the German Television. Mrini is among other known for the films Bamou and Larbi. Mrini has also worked as a Moroccan Tv-producer and has published book about Agadir and Salé.
