Synopsis

After a 16-year-old Egyptian girl in Stockholm knows she is accidentally pregnant from her Swedish boyfriend, she falls in panic fearing the expected raging reaction of her parents. She has to deal with horrible consequences, when she, alone and shivering in her dark room, eventually gives birth.

Fady Gamal Atallah is a film director, producer, and the co-founder of B-RETTA FILM in Stockholm. With a background in engineering, he pursued his passion for film, studying at Stockholm Film School and De Montfort University, where he earned his MA in filmmaking. He has created award-winning short films and documentaries, including Raindance Film Festival 2019 Official Selections and a Special Jury Prize at CNFF 2016. His films in progress received support from institutions including Swedish Film Institute, Film i Skåne and Doha Film Institute.
