This workshop, led by renowned sound designer Yehya Breshe, explores the art of sound design and music in film—from capturing and designing soundscapes to integrating music that enhances the cinematic narrative.
Participants will gain insights into the creative and technical aspects of sound in film, including:

Instructor
Yehya Breshe
Yehya Breshe is a Syrian-Swedish sound designer and mixer with over a decade of experience in film and television. He co-founded Unison Studio, a leading audio post-production company based in Malmö, Sweden. Yehya has worked on various projects, including animation, fiction, and feature documentaries, bringing creative and technical excellence to short and long-form storytelling. His recent credits include Yalla Parkour, which received the Grand Jury Prize at DOC NYC and the 2nd Audience Award at Berlinale 2025, and Passing Dreams, which opened the Cairo International Film Festival and will open the Malmö Arab Film Festival 2025. He also designed sound for the animated short Ett Ont, screened at PÖFF Shorts, Sitges, and Uppsala Short Film Festival.
