About the Film

Nadia, a nightclub worker, discovers that she is pregnant, so she decides to keep her pregnancy after knowing it’s her last chance to conceive, losing her job and accommodation for violating the club’s rules. She wears modest clothing, rents a room in the apartment of divorced tailor KHALED, then starts working in sales and  searches for a husband so her baby bears his name.

IMAD, Khaled’s son, coming out of prison, discovers his room is rented to Nadia, so he lives with his mother. Nadia rents a taxi so Imad helps her with her transportation to cosmetics stores. Provoked by Imad, neighbors protest Nadia’s living with Khalid, so he leaves the apartment and lives in the guard’s room in the sewing factory where he works as a cleaner.

Nadia finds a potential husband, but he requires a medical test, so she leaves him and loses her successful job with him. Imad becomes suspicious of Nadia’s behavior, so she asks him to end the work between them, and before Imad hands over the taxi. His old theft partners destroy it, so Nadia bears the heavy financial cost of repairing the taxi because it is rented under her  name.

Nadia tries to return to work at the nightclub to pay the taxi repair cost, but she fails. She stops one of the cars and agrees to sleep with a guy. Due to a dispute between them, the guy hands Nadia over to the police. Ahmed discovers Nadia’s previous work and pregnancy, and things grow complicated between the three characters. Each tries to hide their past while searching for a better present.
