About M:brane:
M:brane is a platform that focuses on audio-visual content for a young audience since 20 years. The Forum gathers 200+ professionals from the audio-visual industry. 25 countries are represented at the forum where 30 projects in development are pitched for Decision Makers, Experts and producers. The Opening Industry Conference opens the forum with panels and keynotes speakers.The Forum also contains a documentary workshop REALYOUNG©.
Lennart Ström: Managing Director
Lennart Ström has been active in the media community since the mid 80’s, wearing many different hats; Film Producer, Festival Director, Project Manager and Board Member in various organizations within the audio-visual industry. Lennart’s vast background as Film producer of Documentaries has brought him International recognition; Harbour of Hope (2011) Every Face Has a Name (2015), Swedish documentary blockbuster Tusen Bitar (2014) Becoming Zlatan (2015) and co-producer of Danish Cannes winner Armadillo (2010). Lennart is since 2018 the Managing Director of the international co-production platform m:brane in Malmö, Sweden, a platform that focuses on audio-visual content for a young audience since 20 years. The Forum gathers 200+ professionals from the audio-visual industry. Lennart is principal of the annual event keeping an ongoing dialogue with funders and collaborators and is the point-of-contact for Decision Makers.
About BUFF:
BUFF Malmö Film Festival is an international children’s and youth film festival, held annually in March. Since 1984, BUFF has been the most important screening window for films for children and young people in the Nordic countries. BUFF is a film festival that suits everyone. Someone gets their very first cinema experience at BUFF. Someone shows their first feature film to a critical group of children. Someone is further inspired to tell their own stories using moving images. BUFF Film Festival brings the latest films from all over the world to Malmö – films that might otherwise never be shown in Sweden. Julia Granath von Redlich: Festival Director
Julia Granath von Redlich is festival director at BUFF Film Festival, the Nordic region’s most important film festival with films for a young audience. With a true interest in content for a young audience, BUFF screens around 120 films every year. In addition to the festival week, BUFF runs projects such as Film in Hospital, the network project Nojse which aims to inspire the Nordic film industry to make more and better films for a young audience. Julia has a degree in media and communication science and has also worked at Film i Skåne, a regional resource and production center.
About Göteborg Film Festival:
Göteborg Film Festival is the leading film festival in the Nordics and one of the largest on the international festival circuit. Founded in 1979, it takes place annually in Göteborg, Sweden, at the turn of January and February, combining a strong public profile with an extensive professional platform.

Josef Kullengård: Head of Industry
Josef Kullengård is Head of Industry at Göteborg Film Festival, where he leads and oversees the Nordic Film Market, TV Drama Vision, Nostradamus, and Nordic Film Lab, and serves on the programming committee. Active with Göteborg Film Festival since 2017, he assumed his current role in 2022, bringing extensive experience from festivals and market management. Previously, he worked as the Festival Producer at Malmö Arab Film Festival, and with strategic development of audiovisual production and talent in southern Sweden. In addition, he consults, produces and lectures on film festival, and has an academic background in cultural studies, film, and literature.
About Film i Skåne:
Film i Skåne is the regional film fund and resource center for film in Skåne, Sweden. We work broadly across the entire film area and collaborate with many organisations both regionally, nationally and internationally. We invest in the development and co-production of films and in the talent development of future filmmakers. We finance film festivals and film cultural events. We work with film literacy for children & youth. We also run the film studio Ystad Studios and the Southern Sweden Film Commission, which markets Skåne and southern Sweden as a shooting location for international film and television productions. Our mission is to promote film activity in Skåne and to increase growth in Skåne through film production.
Joakim Rang Strand: Head of Production
Works as Head of Production at Film i Skåne. Joakim has a background as a cinematographer for film and television. Joakim has previously held the position as Commissioning editor for Documentaries for Film i Skåne.
About Fox in The Snow:
Fox in the Snow is a cutting-edge independent film production company based in Malmö. It was founded in 2019 by French-Swedish producer and director Olivier Guerpillon, who runs it together with producer Marta Reguera. The company produces high-quality Swedish and international feature films, with a focus on directors with a singular voice.
Amongst the company’s previous productions are Baker Karim’s Kenya-set thriller THE DOG, awarded at the Swedish Film Awards 2025 and at the AFRIFF 2024; Greek auteur Alexandros Avranas’ Sweden-set drama QUIET LIFE (Venice 2024); BENEATH THE PAVEMENT, THE BEACH by Swedish auteur Henrik Hellström, hailed by critics as one of the best Swedish films of 2024; the Lebanese debut feature COSTA BRAVA LEBANON by Mounia Akl (Venice 2021), awarded in Toronto, London, Sevilla and El Gouna; and the collective documentary about the pandemic in Europe ISOLATION (Venice 2021), co-directed by Michael Winterbottom, Jaco van Dormaël, Julia von Heinz, Olivier Guerpillon and Michele Placido. The company’s latest releases are the Spanish debut feature FORASTERA by Lucía Aleñar Iglesias, awarded with the FIPRESCI Prize in Toronto 2025, and the new film by Egyptian director Abu Bakr Shawky, THE STORIES (MAFF 2026), screened in Tallinn, Red Sea FF and Carthage where it won the Golden Tanit.
Olivier Guerpillon: Producer/CEO
Olivier Guerpillon is a French-born producer and director based in Sweden, where he runs the production company Fox in the Snow. For the last 20 years, he has been producing and co-producing a wide range of internationally acclaimed feature films, screened and awarded at A-festivals such as Cannes, Berlin, Venice, Toronto, Locarno.
His resume include Swedish films such as SOUND OF NOISE by Ola Simonsson & Johannes Stjärne Nilsson (Cannes 2010), BROKEN HILL BLUES by Sofia Norlin (Berlinale, Tribeca 2014) and THE DOG (2024) by Baker Karim (AFRIFF 2024). His track-record of international co-productions include CAPTAIN AHAB by Philippe Ramos (Silver Leopard, Locarno 2007), LES GRANDES PERSONNES by Anna Novion (Cannes 2008), QUIET LIFE by Alexandros Avranas (Venice 2024) and FORASTERA by Lucía Aleñar Iglesias (FIPRESCI Prize, Toronto 2025). He has also co-produced films from the Arab world, such as BEIRUT HOTEL by Danielle Arbid (Locarno 2011), COSTA BRAVA LEBANON by Mounia Akl (Venice, Toronto 2021, MAFF 2022), as well as the latest film by Abu Bakr Shawky, THE STORIES (Tallinn, Red Sea 2025, MAFF 2026), Golden Tanit in Carthage (JCC 2025). Also a writer and director, he has directed internationally acclaimed short films such as IN/OUT (MAFF 2015), shot in Tanger, co-directed the anthology feature film ISOLATION (Venice 2021) and co-written WHILE WE LIVE (2016) with director Dani Kouyaté, awarded at the Fespaco and at the African Movie Academy Awards.
