ABOUT FILM
Nadim is 14 and has his eye on a record player, but his birthday money doesn’t stretch far enough. When a friend introduces him to online gambling, a lucky win gives him a taste of easy success. The thrill of winning pulls him in, but as the losses pile up, Nadim begins borrowing money, hiding the truth, and sinking into trouble.
By following Nadim’s journey, this film reflects on the growing accessibility of gambling, and its impact on young people.

Sosi Chamoun
Sosi Chamoun (b. 1989), born and raised in Stockholm, is a filmmaker holding an MFA in Film from HDK-Valand, University of Gothenburg. She also studied film directing at Kalix Folkhögskola and Stockholm University of the Arts. With over a decade of experience in the film industry as a freelancer and film educator, she has created award-winning short films exploring human rights issues, often engaging younger audiences.
