ABOUT FILM
Dana, a desolate yet daring 10-year-old, runs away from her turbulent home on the Kuwaiti coast of Bnaider, escaping her mother’s rage. She roams down the shore, stumbling upon two teenagers swimming in the sea, Lulu and Muneera. Fascinated by the girls’ energy, Dana parks by their shore. Similarly curious about a little girl on her own, Lulu invites Dana to join them. Lulu comforts and includes Dana despite Muneera’s resistance, but tension rises. Torn, Lulu pities the wounded young girl, but doesn’t want to disappoint her best friend. When Lulu offers to take Dana home, Dana pleads to go somewhere else. Lulu turns stern, but Dana, now more defiant, escapes again, continuing on her journey alone.
