ABOUT FILM
In the near future, Mariam and her family face a financial crisis. At the same time, the Swedish government launches an integration tool called Language Maximization, offering immigrants a generous grant in exchange for erasing all memory of their mother tongue. Soon, Mariam learns that her daughter Alya has found a solution to their financial problems. A film about heritage and remembering our origins in a society that prefers to forget.
