ABOUT FILM
When palestinian Abou Yousef goes back to Gaza, his daughter Mai starts questioning their relationship and how absent he has been throughout her childhood. When he returns he brings with him the smuggled letters he wrote during the 20 years he spent in Israeli prisons. He shows Mai the things he missed in her childhood and through the letters, they reconcile, if only a little bit.

Mohammed was born in Gaza, Palestine. He has a masters degree in documentary film from Stockholm University of the Arts. His films have been screened in different international film festivals. He is currently working on his debut feature documentary Out Of Place.
