Men Barra - من برّا

About the Film

Lebanese immigrant and father to an infant works in a coffee chain that tries to polish its image through fake humanitarian campaigns while ignoring Gaza—and even declaring its complicity against it by supporting the occupying forces through those very campaigns. Adam finds himself torn between the pressure of living costs and family responsibilities on one hand, and the voice of conscience and moral conviction on the other. Amid this conflict, his mother’s voice from Lebanon emerges as a final refuge.

This fragile balance shatters when his mother is treacherously killed by the very same perpetrators, and Adam ultimately chooses the moral stand above everything else.
