MAFF Industry Days 2025 Awards

The ceremony announcing the winners of the Industry Days awards was held at Malmö City Library. The jury—composed of Alison Wilcox (expert in communication, film, and entertainment), filmmaker and media founder Abdulalem Alshamery, and cinema professional Lynda Belkhiria—announced the following:

Development Award (30,000 SEK provided by Film i Skåne):

“One Ride Away” by director Yousef Assabahi and producer Abduljabbar Alsuhili

Sound Design and Mixing Award (provided by Unison Studios):

“Goodbye Lapis Lazuli” by director Rima Alhamedd and producer Yaser Kassab.

Equipment, Editing, and Script Development Award (provided by Filmcentrum Syd):

“Mezzanine” by director Bassem Nabhan and producer Basel Mawlawi.
