Arab Women Film Days 2025
Arab Women Film Days Malmö 2025 will take place on October 3–4 at Panora Cinema. The program consists of feature films and documentaries, as well as a festive opening reception with finger food and music.
The first seed of what would become Arab Women Film Days was planted in 2015, as a way to mark International Women’s Day. The initiative was very well received and eventually developed into a mini-festival of its own. Arab Women Film Days was created to highlight the richness and diversity of films by and about Arab women, and to empower women in an industry still largely dominated by men. The festival aims to showcase film projects with strong female representation in all aspects of production — both behind and in front of the camera.
